A In-depth Look of China Made iPhone 6 LCD Screen Assembly

After Chinese New Year, China made iPhone 6 LCD screen digitiser replacement is overwhelming the repair market. Cost lowers which give more options for those who are earning a very thin margin on phone repairing. At this moment, there are three companies manufacturing the iPhone 6 LCD screens. One is LT, one is JDF, the third one is SC. Below are some comparison after our tests:

First of all, when you take a closer look, both LT, JDF, and SC iPhone 6 LCD screens can spot horizontal textures lines clearly under the light, while the line textures had been hidden by a special painted layer.

Secondly, screens from these 3 manufacturers are thicker than original one because they are manufactured under G+G technology instead of In-Cell technology. Screws to hold the metal plate under the backlight can’t be fastened well. Glass lens, however, are too thin which make the home button stands out. A plastic layer has been added to make JDF made screen thicker.

Regarding to the compatibility with the rear housing, you can distinguish the quality by touching with your fingers. LT made screens are far worse than original while JDF made screen is much better.

The display quality of the SC made iPhone 6 screens is closest to OEM but the visible angle is still smaller. For LT and JDF made screens, clear color differences can be observed.

Regarding to iOS 9.3 compatibility, both JDF, LT and SC iPhone screens passed the test with iOS 9.3 beta 7. We will test again after iOS 9.3 final release few days later and let readers know again.
