Is it difficult to fix iPhone 6S LCD screen or battery?

According to the latest teardown from iFixit showed that both iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are not difficult to repair and average repair technicians are capable of fixing the phone and battery.

The new iPhone 6S series offer new features, including Apple’s A9 processor, 4.7-inch 1334x750 pixels Retina HD display with 3D Touch, a 12-megapixel iSight camera that supports 4K video and a Taptic engine. The 3D touch features provide capability Apple called it “Peek and Pop”. Tactic engine tricks your finger into believing you are feeling a vibration or other sensation when you tap on an area of the screen.

The Taptic engine took up a larger area of space below the battery and that is the main reason why the 6S battery is slightly smaller than the 6 series model. However, according to Apple, the new battery should offer same performance as before although its capacity is only 171mAh while the previous one is 1810 mAh. To replace the battery it is very easy as it is still easy to access.

The iPhone 6S LCD screen is not difficult to repair for average user, similar to previous models. However, please pay attention that the Touch ID cable which parked to the logic board makes it a bit more tricker to repair.
